很多外国人和初次接触外国人来华工作业务的HR都会对此感到困惑，因为大家都知道外国人在中国工作需要办理工作签证，却不知道还有工作许可通知、工作许可证以及工作居留许可，不知道各个文件的意义和每个文件上的信息的意义。

办理流程Procedures01工作许可通知

外国人想要来中国工作的第一步就是要先获得工作许可通知。
系统录入外国人的信息，上传无犯罪认证件和学历认证件等其他文件，通过审核后就可以获得工作许可通知（中英两版）。
《外国人工作许可通知》的有效期只有3个月，需要在三个月内携带《通知》去中国驻外使馆申请工作签证，过期将会失效。
The first step for foreigners wanting to work in China is to get a work permit notification.
The system records the foreigner's information and uploads other documents, such as a non-criminal certification and education certification. After passing the examination, the applicant can get work permit notification (both Chinese and English versions).
This notification is valid for only 3 months. You need to bring the it to the Chinese embassy in your country to apply for a work visa within 3 months. After expiration, it will be invalid.

02Z字签证

Z字签证的签发单位是中国驻外使领馆。其有效期为3个月，外国人需要在3个月有效期内入境，入境后30内去出入境转为工作类居留许可。
Z visa is issued by Chinese embassies abroad. Z visa is valid for 3 months and foreigners need to enter China within 3 months. Foreigners are required to convert their work visas into work residence permits within 30 days of entry.

②三个月有效期的起始日，即获得该签证的日期。
The date on which the visa is issued is the date on which the 3 month period of validity begins.
③三个月有效期的到期日，即外国人应该在这个日期之前入境。
The expiry date of the 3month validity period, that is, foreigners should enter China before this date.
④从你入境开始，这个签证就失效了，只能进出中国1次
This visa is invalid from the moment you enter China, you can only enter and exit China once
⑤从入境当天计算，此签证只有30天有效期

工作许可是外国人来华工作的必要证件之一，无论是入职还是转聘亦或者是离职都需要提供工作许可证。每年延期工作许可时不再颁发新的许可证，此证件可以一直使用,二维码信息会实时变动。
根据国家规定，从2017年4月1日起，实行“两证整合”，即对于来华工作九十日以上的，将不再发放《外国专家证（外国专家来华许可）》和《就业证（外国人入境就业许可）》，正式启用《外国人工作许可通知》和《外国人工作许可证》。

04工作类居留许可

持有Z签证入境的外国人，需要在入境后30天内，持工作许可及其他证件材料到出入境办理工作居留许可。
Foreigners who enter China with Z visas need to apply for WP&RP at exit and entry with work permits and other documents within 30 days after entry.

②居留许可到期时间：外国人必须要在有效期延期居留许可，否则外国人将面临非法居留的情况（有违法记录且面临罚金）
