近日，中国驻多国使馆宣布对中国签证进一步调整，申请M & F签证不需要之前必须的PU 邀请函，这意味着外籍人士只需要一封中国合作伙伴/公司写的邀请函就可以申请短期商务签证了。
Recently, the Chinese embassies in many countries have announced a further adjustment to the Chinese visa application, which does not require a PU invitation letter to apply for M &F visas. This means that foreigners can apply for short-term business visas only with an invitation letter written by a Chinese partner/company

From now on, those in France who intend to resume work and production in china (including economic and trade, education sclence and technology. sports, culture. etc. do not need to provide PU invitation letters issued by relevant Chinese authorities when applying for business visas (M)or visit visas (F)
中国驻加拿大使馆Canada
中国驻加拿大使馆本次“关于调整赴华签证要求”，最主要的更新就是外国人如需赴华从事商务、访问活动，可凭国内生意伙伴或有关单位邀请函申办签证。
中国驻美国使馆The United States
Kindly Reminder：Invitation Letter by the company/institute in China is allowed for visa application to visit related to economic and trade, science, technology.
中国驻英国使馆The United Kingdom
NO invitation Letter issued by related authorities needed for application of M visa, F visa, Z visa.
中国驻新加坡使馆Singapore
Invitation letter issued by a trade partner in China, or trade fair invitation or other invitation letters issued by relevant entity or individual is issued to those who intend to go to China for commercial, trade, exchanges, visits, study tours and other activities.
中国驻日本使馆Japan
Invitation letter issued by units or individuals in Chinais for the application of M &F visa for trade or non-trade visit, like exchanges, visits and investigations.

Summary of Chinese visa application abroad
目前So far:
一、申请M/ F 签证：赴华从事经贸、交流、访问、考察等活动
Application for M/F visa for those who intend to go to China for commercial, trade, exchanges, visits, study tours and other activities.
申请材料：中国境内贸易合作方出具的邀请函、经贸交易会请柬；中国境内有关单位或个人出具的邀请函件。
二、申请Z签证：赴华工作
Application for Z visa for those who intend to work in China.
申请材料：有效的《外国人工作许可通知》（或《外国人工作许可证》原件等）
Materials：Effective “Notification Letter of Foreigner's Work Permit” or the original “Foreigner's Work Permit”
Application for spouse, parents, children under the age of 18, parents of the spouse of the holder of a Z visa or work category residence permit.
申请材料：Materials
①申请人与邀请人之间的亲属关系证明原件；
Original certification showing the relationship of immediate family members between applicants and inviting individual
②在中国境内工作的外国人出具的邀请函；
An invitation letter from the inviting individual
③邀请人的护照及居留证件复印件。
A photocopy of the inviting individual's passport and residence permit
四、申请Q签证：
①中国公民的外籍家庭成员；
②在华具有永久居留资格的外国人的外籍家庭成员。
Application for foreign family members of Chinese citizens or foreign family members of foreigners with permanent residence status in China.
申请材料：Materials
①申请人与邀请人之间的家庭成员关系证明；
Original certification showing the relationship of immediate family members between applicants and inviting individual
②居住在中国境内的中国公民或具有中国永久居留资格的外国人出具的邀请函；An invitation letter issued by a Chinese citizen or a foreign citizen with a Chinese permanent residence permit who lives in China
③邀请人的中国身份证明，或外国人护照及中国永久居留证。
Proof of the inviting individual's Chinese identity or foreigner's passport and Chinese permanent residence permit
五、申请R签证：高端人才
Application for those who are high-level talents or whose skills are urgently needed in China.

《外国高端人才确认函》“Confirmation Letter for High Level Foreign Talents”
六、 申请C签证：机组人员
Application for crew members
申请材料：Materials
外国运输公司出具的担保函或中国境内有关单位出具的邀请函。
A letter of guarantee issued by a foreign transport company or an invitation letter issued by a relevant entity in China
目前，旅游签（L visa）和学生签（X visa）还尚未开放办理
