 R字签证就是中国需要的外国高层次人才和急需紧缺专门人才。

The R visa is a visa for Foreign Experts Whose Skills are Urgently Needed in China.

1. 外国人才资质确认时限压缩至5个工作日，享受最短审发期。

2. 符合R签申请条件的外国人在当地大使馆办理时，享受VIP待遇，可以走绿色通道（不需预约和排队），免签证办理费，出签快（很多国家可以做到当天办当天取）

3. R字签证是中国有效期最长的签证，有效期为5至10年

4. 享受签证最长停留期。可多次入境，每次最长可停留180天。

5. 配偶及未成年子女可享受相同有效期、多次入境的待遇。

2. Foreigners who meet the requirements of R visa application can go through the green channel at the embassy (there is no need to make an appointment or wait in line), visa processing fee is exempted, and visa processing is fast (many countries can do it on the same day and get it on the same day).  

3. The R visa is the longest valid visa in China, lasting from 5 to 10 years  

4. Maximum length of stay on visa.  Multiple entries are allowed and each stay is up to 180 days

• 邀请单位基本条件

依法设立，有实际经营场所、依法纳税、缴纳社会保险、无严重违法失信记录，法律法规规定应由行业主管部门前置审批的，需经过批准，疫情期间优先报备行业相关部门审批。

• 申请人基本条件

凡符合《外国人来华工作分类标准（试行）》中外国高端人才（A）类标准条件人员，均可申请R字签证，如下：

①入选国内人才引进计划的。

②符合国际公认的专业成就认定标准的。例如：

1) 各国科学院院士、工程院士

2) 以第一作者或通讯作者在国际高水平科技期刊（JCP一、二区）发表论文3篇

3) 曾任世界500强企业总部高层管理职位和技术研发主要成员

4) 曾在国际著名金融机构、国际知名会计师事务所高层管理职位任职

5) 奥运会或近两届列入奥运会项目的世界杯、世锦赛及其他重要国际赛事进入前八名的运动员或负责培养的主教练或教练组核心成员

6) 受聘担任高等院校、科研机构高层以上管理职务或副教授等

③符合市场导向的鼓励类岗位需求的外国人才。

④创新创业人才。

• Basic Requirements for Inviting Company

Those legally established, having actual business premises, paying taxes according to law, paying social insurance, and having no record of serious breach of trust, which should be approved by the competent department of the industry in advance as prescribed by laws and regulations, shall be approved, and shall be submitted to the relevant department of the industry for examination and approval during the epidemic period.

• Basic Requirements for foreign applicants

Those who meet the standard conditions of Foreign High-end Talents (A) in the "Classification Standards for Work in China for Foreigners (Trial)" can apply for R visa as follows:  

①　Selected for domestic talent introduction plan.

②　Conforming to internationally recognized standards of professional achievement. Such as:

1) Academicians of national Academy of Sciences and engineering  

2) To publish 3 papers as the first author or corresponding author in international high-level scientific and technological journals (JCP AREA 1 and 2)  

3) Used to hold senior management positions in the headquarters of fortune 500 companies and be a key member of technology r&d  

4) Have held senior management positions in financial institutions and international well-known accounting firms  

5) Top 8 athletes in the Olympic Games or the World Cup, World Championship and other important international events included in the Olympic Games or the core members of the head coach or coaching staff in charge of training  

6) Employed as senior management or associate professor in universities and scientific research institutions  

③　Foreign talents who meet the needs of market-oriented encouraged positions

④　Innovative and entrepreneurial talents

⑤　Outstanding young talents
